Discuss what you have learned about the production process as we have gone through the semester - what you didn't know versus what you knew already, what surprised you, what interests you the most about the production process, etc.
Discuss the ways that having a basic understanding of a production process might be useful in the rest of your college classes/career/life-in-general.
Reflect on and discuss your semester in this class - where you started versus where you are now, what you found most and/or least interesting, how/if it has changed the way you view media, etc.
I learned more about story writing with my production class compared to the one I took at TJC which was more news based. I also learned more about making videos compared to just sound bits. I think i can add some of this video aspects to things for more media uses. Cap-cut is my new go to for video editing.
I will be using the media editing software more, and have actually implemented some of the things like how to cut out the breath noises and the gain issue i was having to better make cleaner commercials and voice clips.
This class was a good hands on way to better understand all that goes into a production. from lighting, camera angles, how to put everything together and in general was a good refresher course on why I will never work in a tv or big production area. This was way to much going on at the same time. Thank you to my teachers and fellow students for tolerating my antics and I am ready for the next segment.
This week I will be taking over for Danny Ray as he is in the hospital so any feedback would be great. Have a good Summer.
