KWNS 104.7 - FM is a station looking to change the way people view Christians and helping the community
Our Story
KWNS 104.7 was started back in 1989 with Lottie and Richard Foster. It was Richard's passion for radio that he found while serving in the Navy that brought this Station into life. Richard passed away in 2004 leaving his legacy to his wife Lottie with help from the DJ Danny-Ray. In 2022 Lottie has stepped back and is now passing on the torch to her Granddaughter Kim.

Through the last few years changes have been taken place. KWNS 104.7 - FM is no longer exclusively a Southern Gospel Station but a station that wants to reach out to all the different music that people can find Christ.
